Overview
GPS Map Camera helps users capture photos and videos with GPS location, map, address, weather, date, and time context. Captured media is primarily stored on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share it outside the app.
Information the app may use
- Location data: Used to display and stamp coordinates, address, map, altitude, speed when available, place context, weather, and capture time.
- Camera and microphone: Used only for taking photos and recording videos when you start capture.
- Photos and files: Used when you save stamped media, import selected media, export files, or share content.
- Purchase data: Apple and RevenueCat provide subscription, purchase, entitlement, and restore status so Premium access can work.
- Device, diagnostics, analytics, and advertising signals: Firebase, Google AdMob, Meta App Events, TikTok Business SDK, and platform services may process technical identifiers, app events, crash/diagnostic signals, ad delivery data, attribution data, and performance information when enabled.
- Support messages: If you email support, we receive the email address and information you include in the message.
How information is used
We use information to provide GPS-stamped camera features, render maps and overlays, save or share media at your request, verify Premium access, restore purchases, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, improve app quality, measure feature performance, and show or control ads for free users.
Ads, ATT, and Premium
Free users may see Google AdMob ads, including app-open, interstitial, and rewarded ads. The app may request App Tracking Transparency permission where required by iOS. If tracking is not allowed, ads may still appear but should be less personalized. Premium access is intended to remove app-open, interstitial, and rewarded ads while Premium is active and verified.
Third-party services
The app may use Apple services, Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat, Meta App Events, TikTok Business SDK, and related service providers. These providers process data under their own policies and platform requirements.
| Provider | Purpose | Possible data category |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | App Store purchases, subscriptions, payments, device permissions | Purchase records, device/account transaction data |
| RevenueCat | Premium entitlement, offering, purchase restore | Purchase status, app user identifier, product identifiers |
| Firebase | Remote Config, analytics, reliability, app configuration | App events, device/app instance identifiers, diagnostics |
| Google AdMob | Ad delivery and measurement for free users | Advertising identifiers when permitted, ad events, device signals |
| Meta/TikTok SDKs | Attribution and event measurement when enabled | App events and technical attribution signals |
Storage and retention
Memories stored in GPS Map Camera remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Exported media saved to Photos, Files, cloud drives, messages, or other apps is controlled by those destinations. Purchase and billing records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for legal, tax, fraud prevention, customer support, and restore-purchase purposes.
Your choices
- Change location, camera, microphone, photos, and tracking permissions in iOS Settings.
- Delete local memories inside the app where deletion tools are available.
- Delete exported copies from Photos, Files, cloud services, or other apps separately.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Contact support for privacy or deletion questions.
Children
GPS Map Camera is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information, contact support so we can review the request.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, SDKs, legal requirements, or App Store requirements change. The latest version will remain available at this URL.
